Biography

William Start Jnr.was born about 1690 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, British Colonial America. He was the son of William Start (1653–1717) and his wife Sarah Ellard (1655–1750)

He was a mariner who owned a schooner called the "May Flower". He built a wharf in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, British Colonial America in 1729.

He died on 26 November 1754 in Ipswich, Massachusetts, British Colonial America.

Marriage

William Start was married to his 1st wife Mercy Holland (1687–1725) nee Figg/Hamblin on 9 April 1717 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, British Colonial America.

He was widowed in 1725 and was married to his 2nd wife Deborah Loud (1692–1758) in February 1726 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, British Colonial America.
