Cornelia was born on 17 September 1847. She was the daughter of John Winston Spencer-Churchill, 7th Duke of Marlborough and Lady Frances Anne Emily Vane.
She married Ivor Bertie Guest, 1st Baron Wimborne of Canford Magna, son of Sir Josiah John Guest, 1st Bt. and Lady Charlotte Elizabeth Bertie, on 25 May 1868. They had 9 children.
As a result of her marriage, Lady Cornelia Henrietta Maria Spencer-Churchill was styled as Baroness Wimborne of Canford Magna on 30 April 1880.
She was invested as an Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) on 22 January 1927.
Cornelia died on 22 January 1927 at age 79 at Upper Brook Street, Mayfair, London, England.
