Biography

Ann Sunnes, daughter of Andrew Sunnes and Janet Brodie, was born on 18 Sep 1830 and baptized on 3 Oct 1830 in , Kilsyth, Stirling, Scotland.[1]

Ann Suness married John Runciman on or after 26 Feb 1853 in Dunbar, Haddingtonshire (now East Lothian), Scotland.[2][3]

They had children, including the following:

  2. Andrew Runciman[5]
  3. Jean [6]
  4. Janet (Runciman) Jaffary
  5. John Runciman[7]
  6. Thomas Runciman[8]
  7. James Runciman[9][10]

In the 1861 census Ann (age 30) was the wife of John Runciman in Pressmennan Farm Houses, Stenton, East Lothian.[11]

In the 1901 census Ann (age 70) was the wife of John Runciman in Daery Main Cottage, Innerwick, East Lothian.[12]

Ann may have died 1901, possibly in Innerwick, East Lothian, Scotland[13]

Child Janet was added to profile with no sources. There was a Janet Runciman born 1858, but the mother's maiden name of James, does not match other info. [16] Child Jean was added since birth source found. It is possible that Jean is also Janet.
