Agnes (Sneddon) Nisbet was born in Scotland.

Agnes was born in1867, the daughter of Richard Sneddon and Margaret (Robertson) ^[1]

1876 The family migrated on the ship Nineveh, which arrived in Australia on the 10th November that year. Margaret Sneddon age 47, birthplace Linlithgowshire, husband Richard Sneddon age 47, occupation Labourer, birthplace was recorded as Lanarkshire, Children Charles Sneddon age 22, occupation Labourer, Elizabeth age 20, occupation Farm Servant, William Sneddon age 19, occupation Labourer, Marion Sneddon age 17, occupation Dress Maker, James Sneddon age 15, occupation Van Driver, Alexander Sneddon age 13, Jane Sneddon age 11 years, Agnes Sneddon age 9 years and John Sneddon age 5 years. All childrens birthplace recorded as Lanarkshire. ^[2]

Death notice (The West Australian (Perth, WA : 1879 - 1954) Fri 29 Oct 1943 / Page 1 / Family Notices) NISBET.—On October 28, 1943, at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr Gomer Evans, 47 Fairlight-street, Mosman Park, Agnes Nisbet, dearly beloved youngest daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Sneddon, of Scotland and Wallsend, NSW, widow of late Robert Nisbet, of Coolgardie, darling mother and mother-in-law of Margaret and George Davies (NSW), Robert and Richard (deceased), Elsie Nisbet and Hamilton and Gomer Evans, devoted grandma of Gwen and Clarence Rouse, Lyndal and Dorothy Evans, Myrna and Arthur Campbell and great-grandma of Daryl and Glenyce Evans; aged 76 years. Sweet rest after much suffering.^[6]
