Henry Frank Smith was born about March 19, 1834. He passed away about October 19, 1925.
He was the captain of sloop Helen A. Brown, which made runs between New York City and Northport , on Long Island. Prominent citizen. Had a house on Main Street, active in Masonic Lodge, gave lectures. Usually referred to as Capt. Henry Frank Smith in local newspaper, the Long-Islander.
