James Walter Smith, the son of James Smith and Hannah Jane Murray, was born 27 October 1868 and died 22 August 1931. On 27 March 1895 he married Martha Elizabeth Fletcher in Stoke Poges, England. They had 4 children: Hazel, James Fletcher, Walter Worcester, and Janette.[1]
