Joseph Sinkler was born on April 9, 1766 in Gilmanton, Strafford, New Hampshire. He was a son of Richard Sinkler and Mary Cilley.
Joseph married Olive Colbath on January 15, 1789 in Barnstead, Strafford, New Hampshire.[1] The couple lived in Barnstead in 1790.[2] Their children born in Danville, Caledonia, Vermont:
The family continued to live in Danville until 1840.[12][13][14] Olive died in 1838 in Ohio.[15] He died on May 12, 1845 in Perry, Lake, Ohio, United States.[16]
