William Sinclair was born in 1901 in Loughgall, County Armagh, Ireland, United Kingdom, son of George Sinclair (~1847–1938) and Elizabeth Unknown (~1862–1948).
Billy married Priscilla Unknown (born about 1902) in Loughgall, Northern Ireland. Their children were:
- Elizabeth Joyce Sinclair (1931–2020)
- Fredrick Herbert Sinclair (~1932–2016)[1]
Billy died on June 4, 1955 in Ireland, aged 53
