Helen emigrated to New Zealand aboard the S.S. Pakeha. A Shaw Savill Line ship built in 1910. [2]
Helen married Hugh Ahern in 1923 in Otaki. Witnesses were Percival George Bevan and Margaret Cecial Ahern. Married by Father Francis Melu. [3]
