WESTVILLE RD. – Edith Vinten Cavanaugh, age 93 of Westville Rd., Pictou County, passed away on Sunday, April 15th, 2018, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Isaac's Harbour, she was a daughter of the late William John Gordon and Lucy (Vinten) Sinclair.
Edith was a resident of Westville Rd. since 1988, prior to which she resided in Truro for a number of years. She operated the New to You Book Store in Truro for a number of years and also worked in nursing homes and motels in that area. Edith was a member of the Pictou County Arts and Crafts Association.
Cremation has taken place, a public graveside service will be held in the Abercrombie Cemetery on Friday, April 20th, at 11 a.m.
