This is a fantasy. There is no precise evidence when John Know was born and it is almost certain that the was born at home in his parent's house at Mainshill, Morham, outside Haddington. certainly at the time he was born there was no Gifford, or, therefore, Giffordsgate. Strathclyde and the United Kingdom did not exist at this time. It is well-established that Knox died in Edinburgh. See the references on his page. His father, William Knox, was an established farmer and definitely not a knight. John Knox's mother was most definitely not a 'Lady and it is too ridiculous to suggest that she is buried in Orkney.

Please do not change the mother's again unless you have unimpeachable source material..
