Biography

Daniel was born about 1840. He was the son of Andre Sinclair and Margaret Stevenson. ^[1]

He married Catherine McLeod in 1862. ^[2]

They had the following children:

1. Margaret “Maggie” (McKinlay) 1863–1956
2. Andrew Daniel Sinclair 1864–1931; New Zealand
3. Colin McLeod Sinclair 1866–1920; Toronto, Canada
4. Catherine Jamieson Sinclair b. 1868
5. Matilda Mcleod Sinclair b. 1870
6. Daniel Sinclair 1872–1872

Catherine died in 1872 after giving birth to their son Daniel. In 1873 he married Annie Brown. ^[3]
