Wilbert was born in 1912. He was the son of William Simcoe and Ethel Goodwin. He passed away in 1952.
FATAL FALL FROM CITY HOTEL WINDOW Townsville police are investigating the death of a Commonwealth Government employee, William Leslie Simcoe, 39, married, of Biloela. Simcoe's body was found slumped on the concrete at the rear of Ramage's Hotel, City, at about 5.30 a.m. on Tuesday. He was last seen alive at about 10 o'clock the previous night. Police believe that the man had fallen from an upstairs window during the night. Death was due to head injuries. Late on Tuesday night police located Simcoe's wife at Biloela.
