- "Robert his father" assumed to be James' father
- "John Sheil in Swinie"
- Identification of relationships is further complicated by the fact that "James Sheil the smith in Houston" married "Isabel Sheil in Swinie"in 1715 - which review probably makes it more likely that John is Isabel's father, brother or uncle? Henderson-2297
