Biography

Alison Shiel was baptised on 27 May 1813 in the parish of Cavers, Roxburghshire, daughter of George Shiel and Jean Murray.^[1]

Alison married George Scott in the parish of Jedburgh, Roxburghshire on 23 December 1831.^[2]

The couple had three children baptised in the parish of Selkirk, Selkirkshire:
