Edward Shearer was born in Cumberland, England.
Edward Reay Shearer was born on 24 August 1871, in Longtown, Cumberland, England, United Kingdom as the son of William Shearer and Eliza Reay.[1]
He had 2 sons and 2 daughters with Robina Jane Ironside.
On 31 March 1901 Edward lived in Carlisle Caldewgate, Cumberland, England, with his wife Robina and their children William, Agnes and Alexander.[2] He worked as a railway guard at that time.
He died on 26 May 1945, in Leederville, Western Australia, Australia, at the age of 73.[3] He was buried in the Presbyterian section at Karrakatta Cemetery, Karrakatta, Western Australia, Australia.[4]
