- Born on 22 February 22 1895 to Isabella (nee Rutter) and Thomas Sharp in Bebside, Northumberland.[1]
- Fought in WWI.[2]
- Married Mary 'Molly' Tulip on 15 April 15 1918 in Adelaide, Australia. Marriage registered in district of Morpeth, Northumberland.[3][4]
- Children with Molly:
- Some time between 1927 and the mid1940s, George and his family moved from Ashington, Northumberland down to Dunstable, Bedfordshire in the south of England.[5]
- Wife, Molly, died in Bedfordshire in 1956.
- Married Ruth 'Cissy' Charlotte at some point.[6]
- Moved permanently to Australia (permanent home of son, Norman, and semi-permanent home of son, Ronald) prior to 1984.
- Died on 3 August 1984 at Henley Beach, South Australia.[7]
- Cremated at Enfield chapel, 7 August 1984.[6]
