Biography

Martha Ann Scutts was born in 1841, daughter of John Scutts (Convict Ship Charles Kerr arr. 1837), born on 12 March, 1809 at Wiltshire, and Mary Ann (Brown) Scutts.

Martha married Walter Bryant, of Long Sutton, Somerset, England, in 1866 in Sydney, and were the parents of Alfred Bryant. She passed away at home, Lillian Cottage, Marion Street, Leichhardt, Sydney, in 1909.
