• Possibly the Captain Scull that was wounded in action the night of the Long Beach Massacre affair on October 25, 1782 at Long Beach Island, New Jersey. The Captain Scull wounded during the Long Beach Massacre is historically stated as Captain "David" Scull. However there is only scant information on Captain David Scull and for his family linage so more research is needed to verify. There are only 3 members of the Scull family from New Jersey on the DAR registry. And 3 other Scull's from Pennsylvania. But there is no Captain David Scull from New Jersey on the DAR website.
