Sergeant John Scott Jr served with 3rd South Carolina Regiment, Continental Army during the American Revolution.
Comment/Suggestion
Seems like a lot of Ancestry trees have John Scott's middle name as McInturff, mine included until today! However, 2 of his daughters married McInturff's, and as far as I can determine the name McInturff is not in the Scott line until his daughters married the McInturff brothers. I almost "fixed" your profile, but would rather you would do it if you do your research and agree that McInturff is not the middle name of John. If you find that it is please let me know.
Thanks, Joan Williams Wagner, 22 Sept 16.
