Biography
Sidney was born in 1839 in Litchfield, Michigan. He was the son of William Savage and Secreta Murdoch.
In September, 1850, Sidney, 11, is living with his family in Litchfield, Michigan.[1]
In June 1860 Sidney, 21, is not living with his family, but is working and living with the George Roberts (Robards) household in Litchfield, next door to cousins? Daniel and Lucretia Murdock. [2]
In 1870 Sydney is still living and working as a farmhand with his sister Miriam Robards and her family.[3]
In 1880 Sydney, 38 (?) is living with his mother Secreta, 74, and sister Ella, 33, in Litchfield.[4]
On February 2, 1887 Sydney, 47, married Rose Allen, 27, in Litchfield.[5][6]
In 1910 Sydney, 69, his wife Rose, 50, married 24 years, are living at 204 Mill St. in Litchfield Village with daughter Gladys, 9 and Sydney's sister Ella, 61.[7]
He passed away in 1919. [8]
