Elizabeth Sandison, daughter of William Sandison and Katharen Tait, was born about 1808 and baptised in Watten, Caithness, on 24 August 1808.[1] Place of residence at the time of baptism was South Dunn.[2]
In 1851 Elizabeth was living at Spittal Hill, in the parish of Watten, with her "half" sister Janet. Elizabeth's trade was "pauper day labourer".[3]
