Margaret was born in 1789. Daughter of William Salmon and Janet McGrigor.

She was Baptised on 20 December 1789 at Killearn, Stirlingshire, Scotland.[1]

John McNab married Margaret Salmon on 16 December 1809 at Bonhill, Dunbartonshire, Scotland.[2]

On 6 June 1841 the McNab family lived in Bellfield, Dunbartonshire, Scotland. John Mcnab (50) Printery Mast & Margaret Mcnab (50) with John Mcnab (24) Clerk, Mary Mcnab (12), Janet Mcnab (20), Elisabeth Mcnab (9), James Mcnab (6) & Margaret Smith (18) with Christian Salmon (35). [4]

On 31 March 1851 Margaret Mcnab (60) with John Mcnab (35) Dyer Scourer & Bleacher, Elisabeth Mcnab (18), James Mcnab (15) & servant Jessie Mitchell (20) and Christian Salmond (51) lived in Inglis Green, Colinton, Midlothian, Scotland. [5]

On 7 April 1861 widow Elizabeth Macnab (71) with unmarried children John Macnab (44) Dyer Scourer & Bleacher, Margaret Macnab (28), servant Elizabeth Nicol (21) with visitor John Gleghorn (17) Draper lived in Colinton, Midlothian, Scotland. [6]

She passed away in 1866 and was buried at the Dalry Cemetery. [7]
