Biography

Robert was the son of Darling Runciman and Elizabeth (Ainslie) Runciman, he was born on 5 October 1859 in Dirleton, East Lothian, Scotland.^[1]

In the 1881 census Robert (age 21), Ag: Lab, was the son of Darling Runciman in Aberlady Mains, Aberlady, East Lothian.^[2]

Robert's marriage to Jessie Paton was registered in 1885 in the Prestonkirk district.^[3]

Robert died in 1952 and was buried in Gladsmuir Churchyard & Cemetery, East Lothian, Scotland.^[4][5]
