Biography

Christiana Rumple was born on August 29, 1819 in North Carolina, United States, daughter of Philip Rumple (~1776–1832) and Mary Magdalena Friess (1779–1864).

Christiana married William C. Weir (born about 1815; son of James Weir and Margaret (Carrigan) Weir) in North Carolina. Their children were:

In 1860, Christiana (40) was living in Clay, Columbia with her children, James F (20), and Robt A (4); her sister, Mary Ann E (7); and W C Weir (45), Cristeena Weir (40), Wm A Weir (16), Margaret L Weir (9), and Margaret Weir (75). [1]

In 1900, Christiana was living in Clay, Columbia. [2]

Christiana died on February 14, 1901 in LaFayette County, Mississippi, United States, aged 81.
