Research Notes

"Mum was the last born of nine (the only girl). She started out on the farm in Harden but following a prolonged severe drought they were forced to sell the property and moved to Canberra where she and my eight Rumble uncles grew up.

Mum met my father, Ted Annesley at a ball in Canberra, married in Sydney and settled in Wollongong where she had my three brothers and I ( two brothers living- one of the twins died at birth).

More recently in 2012 my two brothers and I travelled down to Canberra for a Rumble family get together where we caught up with all the cousins. Later that year (in October ) mum passed away after ten years of living with Parkinsons." (Greg Annesley, 2014).
