Edward Wotton, married before 31 Dec 1518 Dorothy Reade, 4th daughter of Robert Reade, by Margaret, daughter of John Alphey. They had four sons, Robert, Thomas, William, and Nicholas, and two daughters, Anne and Mary. His wife Dorothy, died 8 Sept 1529. He married (2nd) before 1544 Ursula Dymoke, widow of John Rudston, (died 1531), and daughter of Robert Dymoke, by his 1st wife, Jane, daughter of Alexander Cressener. They had no issue. Sir Edward Wotton died 8 Nov. 1551. His widow, Ursula left a will dated 18 July 1553, proved & June 1554.
