Biography
Amable was baptized on January 20, 1807, as recorded in the Bouctouche Catholic church register. The priest noted that he was 7.5 months old. Parents were Francois Roi and Marie Leger. Godparents were Edouard Jageais and Edesse Roi.[1][2]
He married Charlotte on October 10, 1826, as recorded in the Richibouctou-Village Catholic church register. Groom's parents were Francois Roi and Marie Leger. Bride's parents were Hubert Cormier and Pelagie Girouard from Bouctouche. Witnesses were Hubert Cormier and l'Amand Roi.
His funeral service was held on April 1, 1883, as recorded in the Bouctouche Catholic church register. The priest indicated he was 78 years old. He was spouse of Charlotte Cormier. Witnesses were David Roy and Onesime (image cut off).

Amable Roy (Roi) ,who is the son Francois Roy and Marie Leger, was born in Bouctouche January 7, 1807. He married Charlotte Cormier in Richibouctou-Village on October 10, 1826. His funeral service was held in Bouctouche on April 1, 1883. Priest wrote that he was 78 years old. I have not come across any mention of him being named Alexis or Armand. It is possible that information from two different persons have been included in this profile. I have accessed the microfilm images of Francois' baptism, wedding, and sepulture.

Marguerite Cormier was not the wife of Amable Alexis Roy. She married Alexis Roy, son of Charles Roy, on Nov 11, 1828. With so many similar names and dates, it's easy to get them tangled.
