Theresia Rosentreter was born on either May 10, 1871 or December 20, 1863 in Groß Zirkwitz, Flatow, West Prussia, Prussia, Deutschland, daughter of Andreas Francis Rosentreter (1830–1885) and Elizabeth P Hoppe (1839–1922).^{[1] [2]} She was baptized on December 22, 1863 in Kamin (Kr.^{[1] [2]}

Theresia (31) married John Frank Napiontek (21) (born on August 9, 1873 in Prussia) on July 9, 1895 in Milwaukee.^{[3] [4]}

Theresia died on December 14, 1896 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, aged 32.^{[5] [6] [7] [8]}

Research Notes

There is a conflict in the records - death record lists birth date as May 20, 1871; birth record states Dec 20 1863. Possibly two daughters named Theresia? Also Find-a-Grave has error in birthdate and states March 20 1871, name spelled Napiontak on headstone.

Theresia's sister, Anna Francisca Rosentreter married John Napiontek's brother, Thomas - some family trees mix up the sisters. John Napiontek's second wife was Anna Hoppe, which further confuses researchers.
