Elsie A. Albano is born either on the eighth[1] or tenth of July[2] 1921, the daughter of Donato Rosati and Maria DeAngelo.[3]
In the 1940 federal census of East Longmeadow, MA, taken 5 April, Mary Rosati, 57 (b. 1883), a widow, heads a household on Lombard Ave with her children Albert, 24 (b. 1916), Alfred, 20 (b. 1920), Elsie, 18 (b. 1921), and Frank, 16 (b. 1923). Mary was born in Italy and her children in MA. She owns her home, worth $2000. Albert is an upholsterer with an upholstering company. Alfred is a janitor in a restaurant.
Next door are Felix Tranghese and his family, Salvatore's parents.[4] Salvatore marries Carmela, Elsie's sister.
Elsie marries Louis Albano in 1945 or 1946.[5] They have three children: Patricia, Tina, and Anthony.[6]
Death of Elsie
Elsie dies 31 May 2001 in Springfield[2] at age 79.[5] Elsie is buried in St. Michaels.[7]
Louis dies on 4 March 2009 at age 90 in the Jewish Nursing Home in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.[6]
