Biography

Orrin was born in 1940. Orrin Romenesko ... He passed away in 2001. [1]

Notes from the family history compiled in 1979 by Sharon Jens Nachtwey: "Orrin attended both Twelve Corners & Freedom Grade Schools, and graduated from Freedom High School. He served in the Army, then came back and has owned and operated his own excavating business since then."

Orrin served in the Army 27 Oct 1961 until 7 Aug 1962.

Buried in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton, Wisconsin.

Obituary: Appleton Post Crescent, July 1, 2001 Orrin "Butch" M. Romenesko, Appleton Age 60, died on Friday, June 29, 2001 at the Shawano Medical Center, He was borin in the Town of Oneida on December 2, 1940 to the late Walter M. and Ruth A. (Vanden Heuvel) Romenesko. Butch owned and operated Butch Romenesko Excavating. He loved golf and going to his cottage on Loon Lake. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Linda, sons, Brian of Freedom and Brad of Appleton; mother-in-law Grace Krabbe of Appleton; brothers and sisters, Duwayne (Eve) Romensko of Black Creek; Vera Hofacker and Von (Dave) Wilson, both of Appleton, Vernon (Karen) Romensko of Menasha; Janet (Ken) Frederickson of Darboy; Bing Romenesko of Appleton; Ivo (Lorene) Romenesko of Charlottesville, Virginia, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Darrel; father-in-law, Orville Krabbe; sister-in-law Kathy Romenesko; brother-in-law William Hofacker Jr; and a nephew, Bud Hofacker. The funeral will be on Monday, July 2, 2001 at the Star of Hope Chapel in Highland Memorial, with Father Charles Brooks officiating. The visitation will be on Monday at 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the chapel.
