Biography

Albert Edward Rolfe was born about 1881.

Albert Rolfe married Mary A Fallon, daughter of Mary O'Brien and Peter Fallon at Marrickville, NSW on 8 October 1908.[1] Their three children:

  1. William Arthur Rolfe (1910-1990),
  2. Eileen M (Rolfe) Brereton (1913-1977), and
  3. John George Rolfe (1916-1980).

Albert Edward Rofe enlisted in the Australian Mechanical Transport Service on 1 March 1916.[2][3][4] Driver Albert Edward Rolfe embarked on the HMAT Suevic at Melbourne on 21 June 1917.[5] His wife Mary was recorded as Next of Kin.[2][3] He returned to Australia on 22 January 1920.[4]

Albert Edward Rolfe passed away at Newtown, NSW on 14 December 1970.[6][7] His parents are recorded as Leah and George Rolfe.[6]
