Michel (Roeser) Röeser was born on October 25, 1816[1] in Fingig, Clemency, Capellen, Luxembourg, België, son of Petrus Röser (1787–1863) and Barbara Wirtz (1795–1839).
Michael (25) married Anna (Thommes) Röeser [2](25) (born about 1816 in Luxembourg) on September 27, 1842[3] in Luxembourg. Their known children were:
Because Anna died the same year as son Mathias, her cause of death was likely to have been related to childbirth.
At some time between the death of Anna in 1851 and his marriage to Maria in 1853 Michael emigrated from Belgium to America.
Michael and family are found in the US Census for 1860[4] , United States Census 1870 [5]and the United States Census for 1880 [6]
Michaels also found in the 1865 Wisconsin Census [7] .

Michael died on November 7, 1881 in Fredonia, Ozaukee, Wisconsin, United States, aged 65. He was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Belgium, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin.[8][9] [10]
