Emily was born in 1858 (headstone), the daughter of Emanuel Roby and Elizabeth Rine. She married James R. Reckley in about 1881. They were the parents of at least six children (1900 census[1]). She died in 1915 and was buried in the Reckley Cemetery at Oldtown, Allegany County, Maryland with other members of her family.[2]
