Biography

Jane was born on 20 May 1834 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Robertson and Catherine (Dalziel) Robertson.^[1]

When Jane was 21 she married George Willis on 4 March 1856 in Baillieston. ^[1]

The couple had 6 children:

1. William Robertson Willis, ^[2]

3. George Robert Willis,
4. John Fredrick Willis,
5. Jane Catherine Willis
6. Christina Dalziel Willis.

In 1881 Jane was living in Old Monkland Western, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
