Biography

Sarah Robertson [possibly Robinson] was born in 1849 to John Andrew Robertson/Robinson and Celina Crochet . She married Jean Thomas King in 1864.^[1]Sarah is listed as widowed on the 1900 census.^[2]

The 1910 census^[4] lists her as having borne 10 children, with 7 living.

In 1896, notice was posted of a fair to be given at "Mrs. Thos. King's" home near Houma to raise money for building the Daigleville bridge "opposite said residence". The Hellier Brass Band was hired for entertainment. ^[5]

Sarah died in 1916 in Daigleville.^[6]
