Elizabeth was born in 1740. She passed away in 1782.

Her will discussed in the BUFORD S. CHAPPELL book mentions only ONE child, John Chappell. Evidently her son Henry Chappell had already died. The marriage of Elizabeth Rives to Henry is mentioned on page 11 of said book.
The will of Elizabeth Rives Chappell mentions two member of the Rives family, Charlotte (who received the side saddle) and Timothy, listed as executor. Most likely Charlotte and Timothy Rives were close relatives of Elizabeth. Will was proved 27 Oct 1782.

This map is included to illustrate the difficulty for modern genealogists to search for old records. Each of these districts later became as many as ten counties. In the case of the Rives, Chappells, Taylors and many other families some may say "they lived in Camden," which might mean they are 100 miles off track.
