Biography

Jeanne Aurélie Berthe Riousse, née le 12 avril 1914, 127 rue de la Pompe à Paris (16ème arrondissement), est la fille d'Alfred Louis Riousse, 33 ans, jardinier, et d'Ernestine Marie Lorel, 33 ans^[1]. En 1914 elle est employée de commerce, 42 avenue Montaigne à Paris; sa mère est décédée^[2].

Elle épouse James Dunlap Corr le 27 août 1914 à Paris (8ème arrondissement)^[1][2]. Le couple vivra par la suite à New York^[3][4].

Berthe Corr est morte à New York en février 1978^[5][6].

Various passport applications (below) indicate that Berthe tried to obtain a passport to go back to France in 1919 to visit a sick sister, "Marthe".
