Biography
Alexander was born at Bognageith, Deskford, Banffshire, Scotland on 29 Apr 1826. His parents were Alexander Riddoch and Jean/Jane Taylor
The witnesses at his baptism were Alexander Peterkin in Skeith , Alexander Riddoch in Grange and Jean Paterson and Mary Bidie in Backies
Alexander became a crofter. He married Jane Riddoch in 1856[1]
He died of heart disease age 74 - his death being registered by his son-in-law James Dingwall.
