Biography

O. C. was born in 1914. He was the son of Thomas Rickard and Nancy Vernon. He was raised on a dairy farm in the Davis, Oklahoma area. He married Loye Dale Ashby [Ashby-4194] August 16 1936 in Sulphur, Murray, Oklahoma. They had 2 children while living in Oklahoma, then the family moved to the Texas panhandle where their youngest son was born. O.C, opened and ran Perryton Safety Lane in Perryton, Texas. He sold the business to his youngest son later. He passed away in 2002 while living in Maud, Pottawatomie, Oklahoma. He is buried in Ochiltree Cemetery, Perryton, Ochiltree, Texas
