There are two or three Richardson cemeteries on the mountain in Irvin Ky. All of them are related to Pauline Richardson (Grigsby) in some form or fashion. As I understand it Pauline's great grandfather bought the whole mountain when he came from Virginia. His father was a brigadier general in the revolutionary war, and had been a surveyor with George Washington. He was awarded a boat load of property and money after the war and his sons all split it up. Mom's relative moved to Ky and bought a whole mountain there. Most of it was lost or sold during the great depression. Uncle Bug (Bergoine) and some of Bass's kids still live there, but for the most part all the property is gone, But the old Richardson cemeteries still remain.
