I became interested in genealogy as a teenager. I would comb through obituaries and write down the names of children and grandchildren of the deceased. I have been researching online since 2009, when I joined ancestry.com. Since then I have found many family members. I have help not online my family but others find ancestors they never knew about. It brings a smile to my face when I see people get emotional when they found out new information. I love genealogy.

Can you please open up the above profile as she passed away in Nov 2021 ? To do that, you click on the PRIVACY tab and go down to click on OPEN. Thanks
I am also sending you a request to join the trusted list for her descendants so that I can also make updates to these families as these are relatives of my son-in-law. Thanks! Denise
I removed the text that had been copied from Wikipedia into the profile of Suzzanne Douglas, Douglas-13250.
WikiTree's guidelines say we shouldn't be duplicating Wikipedia's content on WikiTree, and that instead we should just link to the Wikipedia article. You can read more about this in Help:Copying from Wikipedia: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Copying_from_Wikipedia
Thank you for helping to improve our shared tree!

As Emma indicated, we really appreciate all your efforts in creating profiles on WikiTree. Unfortunately, your Watchlist now has 10942 profiles. This is very large. Our systems are designed to handle 5,000. Contributing to more than 5,000 profiles is great (the community thanks you for it!) but don't feel you have to keep so many on your Watchlist. Despite the terminology, there is no shame in "orphaning" Open profiles. :-) This invites others to share responsibility. Since you have more than 10,000, Bulk Trusted List changes tool may not work for you. If so, please contact the team for help reducing your Watchlist.

See this page that explains more about inadequate citations. I would encourage you to please go back to the profiles you've added and source them properly according to WikiTree standards. Otherwise, these profiles will be considered as Unsourced.
Hope this helps!

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
