Biography

William A Reuschle was born on 22 January 1880 in Großbottwar, Germany.

He was the son of Friedrich Reuschle and Wilhelmine Pantel.

William A Reuschle and Karoline Luisa Frederika Auracher immigrated to Sydney on 17 October 1896. They travelled on the Oruba which left London on 4 Sep 1896.

William A Reuschle was naturalised in 1901 in Queensland.

At the age of 24 years, 3 months and 5 days, William A Reuschle married Karoline Luisa Frederika Auracher on 27 April 1904 in Brisbane, Queensland.

In September 1934 William and Emil were fined for the delivery of bread on a baker's holiday in Dalby.

The Courier Mail reported "In the Summons Court Alfred Emsile Ross (manager for Mrs. Violet Ross) and William Reuschle, master bakers, were each fined £1, with £1/0/2 costs, for permitting bread to be delivered on a bakers' holiday.

Emil Reuschle and Abby Bray were fined 10/, with £1/0/1 costs, for delivering the bread".

On 10 May 1954,his wife, Karoline Luisa Frederika Auracher died in Queensland at age 75.

William A Reuschle died on 22 August 1960 in Queensland at age 80. He was buried on 24 August 1960 in Drayton & Toowoomba Cemetery. LUTH3-002-0015.
