Ann was born in the tiny fishing village of Talland in Cornwall, situated between Looe and Polperro. A number of memorials at the parish church of St Tallanus, Talland are dedicated to members of the Rendle family^[1]

Birth Ann Rendle was born in about 1769 or 1770 with parents named as William and Mary and christened on 30 January 1770 in the church of St Tallanus, Talland, Cornwall.^{[2] [3][4]}

Marriage She married Richard Barrett in Talland in 1794 and they had 9 children. ^[5]

Burial Ann (age 60) died in 1830 and was buried on 6 June 1830 in Lansallos, Cornwall, England.^[6][7][8]
