Biography
Betty Reive was born or was baptised on 27 January 1804 in Lyne and Megget, Peebleshire, the daughter of Andrew Reive (1765 - 1847) and Elisabeth (Stewart) Reive (<1776 - 1811)[1]. Although baptised as Betty she appears to have been known as Elizabeth in subsequent records.
Elizabeth died on 21 December 1844 in Lyne and Megget, Peeblesshire, Scotland, United Kingdom aged 40[3].
