Biography
Birth
Septimus was born in 1840. He is the son of William Redpath and Mary unknown.
Marriage
He married Louisa Stapleton in New South Wales in 1872. Children included Lucy Ann Redpath born 1872 in New South Wales.
She died at Newtown in New South Wales in 1880 at the age of 30.
He then married Mary Hartnett in Victoria in 1888[1]
REDPATH—HARTNETT.—On the 17th inst., at St. Mary's Church, Hotham, by the Rev. Canon Potter, Septimus Redpath, Sydney-road, Brunswick, to Mary, widow of the late G. P. Fraser, and second daughter of William Hartnett, Pembroke-house, Brunswick.[2]

- October 1, 2021. Appears to be an illgetimate child . Steptimus born 1876, when he was still married to Louise. There is no marriage recorded in South Australia for Agnes and Septimus, or Victori aand New South Wales. Noted that she may have been a widow and married in the surname of "Martin'.
