Dennis was the son of Alfred Bailey Reamsbottom and Mary Anne Doherty.

Denny survived his country overseas in World War II, losing an arm in battle in December 1944. He was a member of the War Amps Association of Canada.
Denny and Becky retired to McConnell Creek, near Mission in 1971, and it was there that he formed many lasting friendships, as he became actively involved in country life. An avid supporter of the Farmer’s Institute. Denny also took the time to enjoy fishing, bingo, landscaping his land and any winning game by the Toronto Maple Leafs.[1]
