The news of the death of Mrs Charles Seagar, at Silverstream, will be received with regret by a very wide circle of friends and relatives throughout New Zealand. The deceased and her husband were amongst the very first to settle in he Hutt Valley, where they have resided ever since. Mr Seagar was possibly the oldest living shipping proprietor in Wellington. Mrs Seagar, who has well filled life's allotted span, only recently returned from a trip to Rotorua, since when she gradually fell into a decline, the end coming peacefully at midnight on Tuesday. https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/WAG19090812.2.12
