Biography
Mrs. Mattie Henderson, 71, died at 6 a.m. Thursday at General Hospital.
She was a member of Gravely Memorial Methodist Church in the Lone Oak section.
Funeral services will be held at that church today at 3 p.m. with the Revs. E.W. Milner, Leon Chandler and Roy Calvert officiating. Burial will be in Piedmont Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: J.R. Westbrook, F.H. Gregory, G.A. Miller, Harold W. Knox, C.W. Gaultney and D.F. Lynch.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. V.P. Downey of Spartanburg; a son, L.J. of Spartanburg; and two brothers, Jim Rabb of Henrietta, NC, and John Rabb of Marion.
