Biography

Oliver Rabalais was born on March 11, 1878, in Cottonport, Louisiana, his father, Joseph, was 38 and his mother, Celamire, was 37. He married Avada Laborde Rabalais in 1900 in Louisiana. They had five children in 18 years. He died on August 22, 1961, in Hessmer, Louisiana, at the age of 83, and was buried there.
